Lot61: We are for the Mavericks! We are for the Outlaws! That’s the credo behind this famous specialty coffee place in Amsterdam. THEY’RE ON A MISSION TO BECOME A CIRCULAR COFFEE BRAND IN EVERY ASPECT OF COFFEE FIELD.
With that they mean that they want to make sure that they use natural resources - materials, energy, water - in a way that future generations are able to meet their own needs. Lot61 will try their very best to leave a positive impact.
As a part of this, they will be doing everything from using reusable or easily recyclable products to lowering our carbon footprint to re-thinking all our modes of transport, power and much more. This journey is in their DNA, it's something that they’ll will always be fine-tuning and trying to be better at.
I checked-in to Lot61 around 12:30PM and ZIMZALA, The Afternoon Sipper was the ideal coffee to have that time. Let's talk Zimzala! Like a bit of a zing in your Espresso? Zimzala's base of Brazil gives it a touch of hazelnut and body but then Peru comes in, singing of stone fruit. This combo elevates the coffee into a clean and crisp cup.
A true industry style coffee and great all-around afternoon sipper.
As you’d see there is not so much seating but the benches around the cafe make it really appealing to sit and sip coffee and chat up with locals about the most sustainable coffee place in the world, probably, may be!!
