Maverick & Farmer serves hand crafted coffees - coffees that are brewed using a Pour-over filter, French Press, Aeropress etc, Their select beans are profile roasted, retain as much of the soil, terrain and growing environment characteristics as possible, and as specially processed. Coffees from this collection are best had black or with a small shot of milk.
Maverick & Farmer is one of India's few farm to cup coffee brands. Their 140acre estate in Pollibetta, Coorg enables in creation of some amazing experimental award-winning single estate coffees that they ship across India and the world.
Back at the coffee roastery in Bangalore, they roast coffee on a daily basis to meet the huge demand from retail customers, restaurants, cafes, hotels and workspaces across India. Their coffee roasters are highly skilled with some having over 10 years of roasting experience (core team founding India's first artisan coffee brand 'The Flying Squirrel coffee' back in 2012).
The Cafe is nestled in the city centre but away from the usual hustle bustle pretty much inside SUFC - South United Football Club Stadium premises. Who knows you may bump into future G.O.A.Ts here while sipping your cuppa!
Ol’Smoky : The world’s first cold smoked coffee is my all-time favourite. For those who love a mellow, sweet-smoky lining to their favourite drink, this Maverick creation is for them. Freshly pulped arabica green beans are cold-smoked for 13-14 hours in a smokehouse to create this unusual, exquisite coffee. You will best enjoy this black or slow cold-brewed with a touch of milk. Pour-over brewing will help retain most of the fruity-smokiness.
Ol' Smoky by Maverick & Farmer is a micro-lot coffee, so expected limited batch this year.
