When I started writing on Substack exactly one year ago, little did I expect that I’d be able to come this far and create authentic content about specialty coffee and coffee places around the world consistently, week after week for 52weeks!
I thank each of you for your likes, comments and most importantly valuable feedback for making me improve the coffee stories over a period of time.
In this last edition of Season1, I present you with the Top5 Specialty Coffee Places in Singapore, which is bustling with amazing influences from Japan, Nordics & Africa.
Nordic Style Lighter roasts have become more popular in Singapore over the last few years because more people have started liking manually brewed filter coffees. African coffees from Ethiopia and Kenya have always been popular due to their unique floral and fruity characteristics. Besides that, plant-based milk alternatives, like soy, almond, and oat milk, are also getting popular by the day.
So, here’s my Top5 in Singapore along with website links:

Ciao!
Congratulations Ram for being consistent and creative with your posts through the year. I know it takes a lot of time and dedication to make things happen. You have brought life to your experiences in these beautiful posts. Look forward to more stories in future!!! 💐🥰
Your name should figure in Time Travel Authors list. Why should it be reserved for HG Wells Alone?
BTW, good recap and nice pictures? My quirky question is why “Asylum “ is not Number One? For the boldness of the name, it should be number one. I mean, the name does recall unconnected folks like me in southern India . Cheers! March on !!
